From Our Founder
In 2005, Jonathan Padilla invested $3,000 in a tennis ball machine for his personal use while volunteered to introduce underserved communities in San Francisco to tennis. Recognizing the limited accessibility of such equipment, he envisioned creating the "AirBnB" for tennis machines, leading to the establishment of Tennismachinerentals.com (TMR). Operating for over 19 years, TMR connects tennis machine owners with players through an online marketplace. Jonathan has helped partners recover machine costs, often exceeding threefold, and some partners have started their own tennis businesses, providing additional services to TMR-generated customers.
The surge in demand for TMR during Covid prompted Jonathan to question why others couldn't similarly leverage their passions to connect sought-after resources with their communities. This led to the genesis of Exonome, his vision to scale curated niche marketplaces. Exonome empowers entrepreneurs, SMBs, and organizations to monetize connections, achieving their business goals or contributing to community causes.
